About This Opportunity

Responsibilities:

-Deliver hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors and eligible residents throughout Martin County.

-Conduct brief wellness and safety checks during meal deliveries. -Help reduce hunger, isolation, and loneliness among older adults.

-Accommodate special dietary and therapeutic meal needs when appropriate.

-Utilize trained volunteers to support meal delivery and identify potential client concerns or emergencies.

Requirements:

-Complete volunteer training prior to making deliveries.

-Have access to a personal vehicle for meal delivery routes.

-Deliver meals during assigned weekday delivery times, typically between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

-Demonstrate reliability, compassion, and a commitment to serving seniors in the community.

Time Commitment:

Weekday shifts: 1 day per week, 10:30-12:30
