St Joseph's Annual Food Drive

Responsibilities:

• -Welcome donors
• -Collect non-perishable food and household essentials.
• -load donations into House of Hope collection bins.

Requirements:

• -Dependable and able to work independently
• -Friendly, compassionate, and comfortable interacting with families.

Time Commitment:

• Any of these days/times Saturdays 9/19, 11/7, 12/20 from 3:30 to 5 pm Sundays, 9/20, 11/8, 12/20 from7 am to 9:15, 9:15 to 11:30 and/or 5 to 6:30 pm

Impact:

• St. Joseph's Catholic Church will host several weekend food drives by providing empty grocery bags to parishioners the week before each collection. The following weekend, parishioners return the bags filled with non-perishable food and household essentials. Volunteers are needed to welcome donors, collect the filled bags, and load donations into House of Hope collection bins.

Mission:

• House of Hope’s nutrition mission is rooted in providing accessible, nutritious meals and health education to individuals and communities in need, with a strong emphasis on combating food insecurity, promoting healthy living, and empowering people through hands-on learning.
