About This Opportunity
Responsibilities:
-Receive, sort, and organize donated clothing, household items, furniture, and other merchandise.
-Inspect donations for quality and usability.
-Stock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise.
-Assist customers with locating items and answering questions.
-Operate cash registers or assist with checkout, as assigned.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, fitting rooms, and donation areas.
-Help arrange merchandise displays to promote sales.
-Assist with pricing donated items according to store guidelines.
-Load, unload, and move merchandise safely.
-Follow safety procedures and Salvation Army policies.
-Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community members.

Requirements:
-Friendly and customer-focused attitude.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items during shifts.
-Basic organizational and time-management skills.
-Dependability and willingness to learn.
-Ability to handle donations and merchandise respectfully and professionally.
-Commitment to supporting The Salvation Army's mission and values.
-Previous retail, customer service, or volunteer experience is helpful but typically not required.

Time Commitment:
Flexible scheduling available, M-S 9 to 6. Must be 18+.
